ASSISTANCE DURING YOUR STAY
You have chosen a private villa holiday and we intend to respect your privacy. We do not provide a rep service however our offices are open 7 days a week from 9am-6pm and you will be provided with an out of hours emergency contact number should you require emergency assistance.
If there is anything else you want to know then we, and the friendly Lazydays team are all available to give honest and impartial advice and offer additional assistance if needed. We will understand if you want to do your own thing, but if you need us, we are no more than 10 minutes drive or a phone call away. You'll see us if you want - if you don't, you won't.
COMPLEMENTARY HOUSEHOLD STARTER PACK
We provide a complementary starter pack of basic household items that includes a small supply of soap powder, washing up liquid, candles, salt and pepper, matches, toilet rolls, dish cloths and mosquito repellent. As these are exhausted you will need to purchase more. All cleaning materials are provided to the maid at no cost.
GROCERY HAMPERS
Arriving in a villa is not like arriving in a hotel where you can order room service on arrival or drink from the mini bar. So you can have a more leisurely start and have drinks and a snack on arrival without having to think about shopping we recommend that you order our optional grocery hamper. We will shop for you before your arrival and your refrigerator will be stocked with an initial supply of mineral water, beer, ground coffee, tea bags, biscuits, low fat milk and sugar; fresh eggs, cornflakes, jam, bread, butter and cheese, cooking oil and fruit and vegetables.
Please order your grocery hamper at the time of booking. The cost of a hamper is as follows and will be added to your final balance:

PRIVATE TRANSFERS
WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND that we send a driver to pick you up on arrival in Goa rather than leave you to find your own way - ensuring that you start your holiday worry-free.
All our villas and apartments are privately owned and many are tucked away down rural lanes or in villages, addresses are confusing and there are no road names or signs. Because of this, most taxi-drivers will not find them easily.
We have a team of approved drivers that have been with us for many years. They know individual properties personally and are equipped with mobile phones to keep in contact with our team member who will be going to meet you at the property.

Please note that not all groups of vehicles are available to each location and that these rates include a small administrative charge.
Please discuss your vehicle choice with our Sales Manager. The appropriate amount will be added to your final balance.
COMPLEMENTARY HOUSE DRIVER
Many of our properties are slightly off the beaten track. Where this is the case a car and driver will be listed in the facilities list on the individual property. Where there is a courtesy vehicle and driver provided complementary with a property the vehicle will be available for up to 10 hours daily between 8am and 12pm with a minimum of 1 hour for lunch (on arrival days from 14.00hrs and up to 11.00hrs on departure day).
The vehicles are Group A (*see note below) - and carry up to 4 adults.
EXTRAS
We have negotiated special rates as follows:
- Petrol. Calculated at the rate of Rs 5 per km
- Early late hours. A one off payment of Rs 100 is payable if any journey begins before 8am or ends after 12pm.
- Long Hours. If you require the driver for longer than 10 hours this will have to be negotiated with your driver and an hourly rate of Rs50 will be payable.
- Ferry charges: Rs 7 per crossing

It may be possible to book a Group B or C vehicle. Please ask our Sales Manager at the time of booking for a quote for the hire of a different vehicle and the terms. Please note that this will be subject to availability and once you are in Goa, such requests may be difficult to meet, particularly during peak periods.
The specially negotiated terms as listed above will not apply. Please note we are unable to offset the costs against the Group A vehicle provided and the additional cost will be added to your final balance.
PERSONAL SUPERVISION
Samarth, Sharmilla, Mangala, Seema, and Suman, our roving house managers, each have their own property to look after and will prepare your accommodation for your arrival and keep a keen eye on things during your holiday. To ensure the smooth running of the property and your stay is as comfortable as possible we provide a report form in each villa for your convenience where you can record anything that needs attention.
MAID SERVICE
Each property has a daily maid service from Monday to Saturday for a minimum of 3 hours daily. The maids' daily duties include:
Cleaning bathrooms, bed making, sweeping, dusting, washing pots and pans, cleaning the kitchen and washing of light personal laundry e.g. shirts, T-shirts, blouses, shorts, swim wear, underwear, summer skirts etc.
Not included:
- Food preparation or cooking
- Shopping
- Ironing of personal laundry items. We can advise of local laundries if you require this service.
STAFFED HOUSES
On selected properties, in addition to a maid service, the house may include a number of other staff such as a housekeeper, house steward, security staff, manager or caretaker. Their duties will be very specific to that house and are listed on the individual property page on the website.
COOK
Where there is a cook included with the house their duties may vary slightly but they all will be available to prepare and serve breakfast and either lunch or dinner each day by arrangement. If you wish, you can explore the colourful markets and shop for your own provisions or each day the cook will shop for you (and will give you the bill plus a small transport charge). Menu options will vary from property to property.
Please note that the cook is part of a domestic household and as such is unable to produce a la carte meals. If you require a full time cook, have any members of your party with special dietary requirements, wish to entertain a larger group or require multiple menu options e.g. separate children's menu please advise us at the time of booking and according to your requirements we can advise whether your requests can be met.
GAS, ELECTRIC AND TELEPHONE
There are no hidden extras. The price of your holiday rental includes gas and electricity charges and the cost of local telephone calls made from the house.
USE OF LAPTOP COMPUTERS
In certain properties the landline may be used to connect to the internet. If you carry your laptop computer on holiday to use in your villa we will charge a facility charge of £10 per week to cover the additional telephone costs. This is payable locally on arrival. Please note that where there is a telephone we cannot advise on whether there is a jack plug or if it will be compatible with your laptop.
BED LINEN AND TOWELS
All bed linen and bathroom towels are supplied and laundered either twice or three times a week.
POOL TOWELS
In some properties, where there is a private swimming pool, (please check the facilities list on the property page) we also supply pool towels but we kindly request that these are not taken to the beach.
CHILD COTS AND BUGGIES
If you require a cot or baby buggy please mention at the time booking.
