On arrival or shortly after a member of the Lazydays team will meet you at your villa where you will receive a short briefing on how the house works. These are Indian properties and work very differently from the average holiday villa in Florida so it is essential we are there to explain about electrics, the intricacies of pumping water, how the gas bottle works, getting hot water and security. You will also be briefed about the maid service and, where appropriate, introduce you to your driver and explain the system.
Half the fun of travelling far and wide is the element of surprise and the feeling of discovery however, we realise that as you have only a few, all too short, weeks for your holiday, some of the things we have already "discovered" may help you to settle in a little more quickly - making your holiday all the more lazy! So, if you are wondering - How far is the beach? Where can I buy bread/ beer/ hangover pills? Where is the nearest money exchange?
Your greeter is a permanent resident of Goa and has an immense amount of local knowledge and will be able to point you in the right direction. Additionally each villa and apartment is supplied with its own 'Holiday Guide and Property Handbook' that gives general information on how to get the best out of your holiday and what to expect from your accommodation.
At a pre-arranged time during the last day of your holiday someone will call to see you to reconfirm your return transfer arrangements note any breakages and clear any charges.
You have chosen a private villa holiday and we intend to respect your privacy. We do not provide a rep service however our offices are open 7 days a week from 9am-6pm and you will be provided with an out of hours emergency contact number should you require emergency assistance.
If there is anything else you want to know then we, and the friendly Lazydays team are all available to give honest and impartial advice and offer additional assistance if needed. We will understand if you want to do your own thing, but if you need us, we are no more than 10 minutes drive or a phone call away. You'll see us if you want - if you don't, you won't.
We provide a complimentary starter pack of basic household items that includes a small supply of soap powder, washing up liquid, candles, salt and pepper, matches, toilet rolls, dish cloths and mosquito repellent. As these are exhausted you will need to purchase more. All cleaning materials are provided to the maid at no cost.
Arriving in a villa is not like arriving in a hotel where you can order room service on arrival or drink from the mini bar. So you can have a more leisurely start and have drinks and a snack on arrival without having to think about shopping we recommend that you order our optional grocery hamper.
We will shop for you before your arrival and your refrigerator will be stocked with an initial supply of mineral water, beer, ground coffee, tea bags, biscuits, low fat milk and sugar; fresh eggs, cornflakes, jam, bread, butter and cheese, cooking oil and fruit and vegetables.

WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND that we send a driver to pick you up on arrival in Goa rather than leave you to find your own way - ensuring that you start your holiday worry-free.
All our villas and apartments are privately owned and many are tucked away down rural lanes or in villages, addresses are confusing and there are no road names or signs. Because of this, most taxi-drivers will not find them easily.
We have a team of approved drivers that have been with us for many years. They know individual properties personally and are equipped with mobile phones to keep in contact with our team member who will be going to meet you at the property.

It may be possible to hire a Group B. Please ask our Sales Manager at the time of booking for a quote for the hire of a different vehicle. Please note that this will be subject to availability and once you are in Goa, such requests may be difficult to meet, particularly during peak periods.
However, if you hire a Group B vehicle the specially negotiated terms as listed above will not apply and we are unable to offset the rental costs of an upgraded vehicle against the Group A vehicle provided. Additional costs will be added to your final balance.
Samarth, Sharmilla, Mangala, Seema, and Suman, our roving house managers, each have their own property to look after and will prepare your accommodation for your arrival and keep a keen eye on things during your holiday. To ensure the smooth running of the property and your stay is as comfortable as possible we provide a report form in each villa for your convenience where you can record anything that needs attention.
Each property has daily cleaning service. The cleaning service comprises of: cleaning bathrooms, bed making, sweeping, dusting, washing pots and pans and cleaning the kitchen. Not included: food preparation; shopping; ironing of personal laundry items. We can advise of local laundries if you require a laundry service
On selected properties, in addition to a maid service, the house may include a number of other staff such as a housekeeper, house steward, security staff, manager or caretaker. Their duties will be very specific to that house and are listed on the individual property page on the website.
There are no hidden extras. The price of your holiday rental includes gas and electricity charges and the cost of local telephone calls made from the house.
For that added little bit of luxury and indulgence why not reserve one of breakfast cooks during your stay. She will come daily to your villa between 8.30 and 11.30 and prepare and serve your breakfast. Included in the rate are the ingredients for a choice of 2 menu options

We offer complimentary WiFi in all properties by way of a wireless router and TATA dongle. This will provide up to 1.5 GB download for up to 7 days usage. If you exceed this there is a charge of Rs 500 plus good & service tax..
Please note that the internet speed in Goa is slower than the speed you will be used to. This is beyond our control.
All bed linen and bathroom towels are supplied and laundered either twice or three times a week.
In some properties, where there is a private swimming pool, (please check the facilities list on the property page) we also supply pool towels but we kindly request that these are not taken to the beach.
On each villa description we give the maximum occupancy possible within the configuration of the beds, bedrooms and bathrooms. However, if your party requires additional sleeping accommodation then we may be able to offer additional sleeping arrangements.
