About Arpora:
Arpora village is just 2 kilometers from the 7 km stretch of golden beach, which starts at Baga Headland. This once sleepy village is fast emerging from being a small village overshadowed by Baga, its better known neighbour, to being a lively place in its own right with restaurants and hotels spread along the main road and the Baga River road. The paddy fields and hills of the Baga headland are also popular spots for bird watching and this area is a centre for specialist Birdwatching holidays. There are many restaurants in the area from small beach shacks to local restaurants offering delicious fish, lobsters, prawns and Goan food to upmarket restaurants with wonderful menus featuring Italian, Portuguese and French cooking, you are spoilt for choice. Baga is also home to Tito's, Goa's famous nightclub,a must for late night revelers who want to check out where the action is and not to be outdone. The added advantage of Arpora is that with the completion of the bridge at Siolim, it is only a 30-minute drive to the start of the magnificent unspoiled beaches of North Goa - Morjim, Mandrem, Ashwen and Arambol. Mainly undiscovered by the average tourist, this is a stunning area of Goa. Plus the popular beaches and restaurants of Vagator and Anjuna are also an easy drive of 3 kilometers away.
